Welcome to the eighth edition of Kingdom

Summer is almost upon us and what a year it’s been already. As many of you know, my golf course design company moved to Bay Hill recently. It’s been great having my top–notch team of designers so close because it’s been easier for me to be more personally involved in the design projects we’re working on.

Currently, we’re designing and building courses in the Caribbean, California, North Carolina, Texas and even in Asia – and we’re not stopping there. Arnold Palmer Design Company is changing the way golf courses are designed and operated with our “Palmer Premier” series of courses. You’ll have to wait to see how good they’re going to be, but believe me it’ll be worth it.

In other news, the re-named Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard went off without a hitch, and what a great victory for Vijay. It was good to see him and our other fine competitors having so much fun out there. Finally, this year’s Masters was a special one for me. One of the most difficult ever for the players, it was quite an honor for me to kick it off with the ceremonial first tee shot. After all the hoopla, I’m glad I didn’t top it!

Thanks to all of the fans who showed up and write in to say “hi” and tell me how great Kingdom is. Your words inspire me, and I’m glad I can inspire you. Look for more from me and from APDC in the second half of 2007 and beyond. We’re looking forward to building some great courses for you to play and providing more great golf. After all, that’s what we do.
